Echo Zulu Takes Champion 2YO Filly Honors As Expected

Unbeaten 'TDN Rising Star' Echo Zulu (Gun Runner) dominated in a trio of Grade I events last year for L and N Racing and Winchell Thoroughbreds and trainer Steve Asmussen: the GI Spinaway S., GI Frizette S. and GI NetJets Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies, and was an unsurprising winner of the 2021 champion 2-year-old filly Eclipse Award Thursday. She was a $300,000 Keeneland September yearling and the leading member of her freshman sire's exceptional first crop.
